Managed Care Billing Specialist works in the accounting department. Primary responsibilities include:Filing claims with insurance carriersTracking payment statusEntering payments in billing systemDisputing denialsCollecting on unpaid claims.

 Other duties may be assigned based on experience.

 

Requirements:

1+ years related experience. Good people skills and ability to communicate with various levels of peopleAbility to work in varied environmentsAbility to self-manage with follow through to complete tasksAbility to work with others as well Detail oriented with ability to assess facts and draw conclusionsGood with systems and procedures A good comfort level with computers is a plus.
