Sunrise employs over 35,000 team members dedicated to serving seniors.Position: AREA DIRECTOR OF RESIDENT CARE, RN This key multi-site position serving seniors, with areas of responsibility to include quality improvement/regulatory compliance, resident care, medication training, recruitment and wellness services policy implementation. Requirements: Providing leadership and support Sunrise Senior Living Communities, the candidate must be a compassionate and caring individual Ability to travel extensivly & work as a DON when Necessary Minimum 5 years as DON in Medicare Skilled Nursing 70+ beds Handle multiple priorities Work flexible hours Ability to motivate & influence wellness staffBe available to respond during off-duty hours as a nurse consultant. History of sucessful IDRs BSN (MSN preferred), and maintain a current license as a Professional Registered Nurse. Good computer skills Experience in Hospice, Home Health Care, Rehab or Assisted Living with a desire to work with seniors is desired.
