Accounting Manager

Job Purpose:

Develops financial well-being of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting services; preparing growth plans; directing staff.

Duties:
*Oversees the daily AP/AR financial activities.
*Manages multiple accounts for successful cash management.

*Develops finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
* Projects acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion.
*Prepares annual cost reports as outlined by Medicare and Medicaid for skilled nursing facilities.

 

Skills/Qualifications:
Familiar with financial operations of Long Term Health Care with particular emphasis on skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.  Financial Planning and Strategy, Managing Profitability, Strategic Planning, Vision, Developing Budgets, and working closely with corporate staff and facility administrators.
