Accounts Payable Associate - Exception Team

The Accounts Payable Associate - Exception Team position reports directly to the Accounts Payable Team Lead - Exceptions.  This position provides support for the corporate and branch offices.  Responsible for processing vendor invoices and resolving all invoice exception issues.  Job duties include but are not limited to the following:   • Aid in the timely processing of vendor invoices • Resolve invoice exception issues in Xign • Monitor Invoice Image Exception Queue-(missing fields, new vendors, invalid data) • Monitor Invoice Exception Queue-(invalid data, expiring invoices) • Monitor vendor services email account • Point of contact for Regions/Branch Offices • Receive and respond to vendor inquiries • New vendor entry • Obtain W-9 forms/1099 research • Match & Accept vendors in Xign • Vendor file updates (inactivate vendors)Requirements Include: • High School Diploma • Excellent organizational, written and verbal skills • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality work product • Strong data entry skills and must be very detail oriented • Great Plains and Excel experience is preferred • Experience with accounts payable processing in a high volume environment  • Experience in a electronic invoicing system preferred Our company is committed to maintaining a challenging environment that promotes personal accountability, personal growth, and an active role in the driving vision of the company.
