Accounts Receivable Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Manager for our Laboratory in Redwood City.

The Accounts Receivable Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Accounts Receivable Department, including ensuring accurate and timely billing of patient services (e.g., Facility, Lab, Acute, IDPN), maintenance of Accounts Receivable computer system, reconciliation of Accounts Receivable reports to the general ledger, supervision of Accounts Receivable staff, etc. This position will also be responsible for contracts administration, including negotiating payor contracts for the laboratory, completing the application process and managing/maintaining existing payor contracts. This position will also be responsible for overseeing stat testing agreements and invoicing.


Required Experience:
- Minimum 8 years in Accounts Receivable with billing to Medicare, MediCal and private insurance (annual billing $40 million).
- Minimum of five to eight years medical billing supervisory experience.
- Minimum of five years in healthcare payor contracting.

Other:
- Experience with computerized billing systems
- Ability to understand and apply Medicare and MediCal ESRD rules and regulations
- Demonstrated supervisory skills
- Detail oriented
- Understanding of private insurance industry
- Experience with 40-50 million annual billing AR function


Required Education:
- B.A./B.S. in Finance, Accounting
