Primary Responsibilities: Engage problem solving to ensure the match between customer’s core needs and corporate services, and assist in determining future needs, potential modifications to existing product/service lines, as well as the implementation of an action plan. Provide support to implementation and renewal processes, on-line edits, reporting requests, mailings, contact listings, maintaining file records, reviewing customer agreements and documents, accepting and responding to calls when Account Managers are unavailable, and other issues as necessary. Serve as information resource to customers, sales support, marketing, account management leadership and management regarding sales activity and ongoing operations. Respond effectively to customer and producer needs or requests by providing information, service, or by referring customers to appropriate staff. Provide continual education and consultation to the customer and producer, through proactive contacts and follow-up on outstanding issues. Recognize opportunities to provide appropriate new products and services to increase wallet share through cross selling, and brings these opportunities to the attention of account management leadership. Assist in the management of stewardship, and is accountable in conjunction with the Sales Executive and account management leadership, for the renewal strategy and goals across all departments and the customer. Participate in outside industry related functions, committees or business groups, enhancing the visibility and image of Fiserv Health to the business community. Assist in directing internal units to ensure appropriate services are being delivered at an appropriate cost. Indirectly manage service deliverables across department lines to manage process and meet performance targets. Assist in training and mentoring new Account Management Representatives as needed. Participate in or represent account management in special projects. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Perform other duties as required.Qualifications: Bachelors degree is recommended, or equivalent work experience. Preferred 3 years of sales and/or service experience recommended. CEBS certification recommended. State health and life licenses required within 6 months from position start date. Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic understanding of underwriting and pricing practices and fundamentals. Interacts with customer, producer, and internal Fiserv Health contacts with minimal assistance. Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in account service/consultative selling techniques, product knowledge, procedures, and administration. Demonstrate ability to be proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, creative and work with minimum supervision. Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to education, training, and development activities especially in the leadership area. Ability to operate a PC, and a strong working ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Job Requirements/Working Conditions: Work is performed in a normal office environment.
