Administrator Voice Communications
The Institute for Transfusion Medicine is currently recruiting for a Voice Communications Administrator. The administrator will oversee the daily operations, administration and maintenance of the Cisco IP Telephony System. Perform system administration for all adds, moves, and changes as well as troubleshooting for the Cisco IP Telephony environment (Call Manager/Unified Communications Manager, Unity, Customer Response Solutions/IPCC, Cisco Voice Gateways, and Catalyst Switches.) Provide technical assistance and support to the Network Team for day-to-day operations. Perform preventative maintenance and management of all Telephony-related systems. Ensure that all backup and disaster recovery procedures remain current for Telephony systems and call centers. Create and maintain departmental procedures and technical diagrams for the Telecommunications related systems/networks. Prepare monthly management-level activity reports. Serve as project manager for IP Telephony related upgrades, software & security patches, and special projects. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Telecommunications or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer 5+ years of experience to include network and IP Telephony related operations. Strong knowledge of applications in the Cisco Telephony Environment, Microsoft Windows server-based products, and Cisco networking skills. Strong analytical abilities; excellent communication skills, and superior customer service abilities.
