Admissions RN for Hospice

Join us and find the career of a lifetime. The Admission Nurse will go to patients homes and assess and prepare the patient for entry into the spectrum of services provided by Wissahickon Hospice. As an integral member of the Interdisciplinary Hospice Team, the Admission RN provides information to potential hospice patients/families, assists with the decision making process, performs assessments that assure the appropriate level of care is delivered, and expedites entry into service delivery systems. This position requires previous Hospice experience. Hours for this position are flexible to meet the needs of the Hospice Agency. Graduate of NLN accredited school of nursing; BSN required; certification in Hospice & Palliative Nursing preferred. Current nursing license in the State of Pennsylvania. Two years in a healthcare setting, with at least one year in acute care. Must have a current valid Pennsylvania Driver's license.
