Assist pathology residents by prosecting and dictating small routine and small biopsy specimens. Assists pathologist in performing autopsies in the Medical Center morgue and maintains morgue room and equipment in clean and orderly condition. Assists residents and pathologists with surgical specimens and frozen sections. Performs additional tasks as requested by Chairman of Pathology or his/her designee. Bachelor of Science degree in biology, chemistry or mathematics preferred. Required completion of 13 week in-house training program. Minimum of six month prior experience.
