Summary: 
Works as part of a team to ensure that customer accounts are implemented and maintained according to established standards and customer requirements. Works with project and account managers to assess and plan Spheris software solutions. Responsible for software installation, account creation, HIS interface design, templates/Style sheet scripting, SQL queries, A-Z testing, and backup/recovery procedures.

Job Responsibilities:  Write SQL queries and stored procedures specifically for MS SQLTroubleshoot hardware and software problemsSetup interface configurations for HL7 protocolCreate an account and associated records on Spheris platformWrite Visual Basic, JavaScript, XML, XSL, and ASP scriptsConfigure delivery mechanisms Participate in internal and external conference callsPerform other duties as assigned.


Decision-Making:  Changes or modifications in configuration settings for an account that is live without effecting customer workflow.Implementing new accounts, troubleshooting and resolving customer issues in a timely manner

Job Qualifications: 
Education:
Bachelors' degree/diploma in Computer Science or equivalent additional experience
Experience:
Two or more years experience in software development and clinical document management
Knowledge / Skills:Programming experience in Visual Basic, JavaScript, XML, XSL, ASPAbility to write optimal SQL quires and stored procedures specifically for MS SQL ServerKnowledge of HL7 protocolsKnowledge of HIS systems
