Assistant Administrator

Occupation: Business/Strategic Management Position ProfileThe Assistant Administrator – Patient Services is accountable for the administrative, quality, financial, and programmatic management of the hospital’s outpatient ancillary services, as well as support services, including rehabilitation, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, speech, vascular, imaging, home health, laboratory, dietary, environmental, maintenance, and biomedical services.  The Assistant Administrator is also accountable for the Press Ganey satisfaction programs.  This position reports directly to the CEO and is as a member of the senior leadership team.   Qualified candidates will be seasoned professionals with a minimum of five years of senior leadership experience.  The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a broad base of experiences, a long-term perspective, well developed critical thinking skills, and be able to demonstrate a track record of successful physician relationships.  Experience with joint ventures, an electronic health record, and various IT systems are desirable.  Bachelor’s degree is required and a Master’s degree, or current enrollment in an accredited program, is preferred.   Join this outstanding organization!This not-for-profit, independent, community, critical access hospital is the largest rural hospital in Southeast Nebraska and has state-of-the-art technology available in both treatment modalities and diagnostic equipment.  The organization employs approximately 430 employees in their acute-care hospital, long-term care facility, home care division, and physician clinics.  During the past year patients were treated from over 195 communities from 38 states.  In 2007 the hospital added a hospitalist program, in response to feedback from the community.   Enjoy the relaxing pace of this small town community!Located in the Southern part of Nebraska, this community is steeped in history with an agricultural way of life.
