Assistant Event Planner

Full-time Assistant Event Planner who has highly developed organization, communication and project management skills.

 

Will participate in all aspects of planning our national and international events, workshops and training programs. This position requires regular travel to provide on-site assistance, event facilitation and execution including pre- and post- event preparations.

 

The ideal candidate must:

- have extensive project management and/or event management and planning experience

- be proactive, solution-oriented and an independent thinker

- possess superior communication and interpersonal skills

- have the ability to work independently, be resourceful and multi-task

- have excellent decision-making and problem resolution skills

- have a high standard of excellence and work ethic with positive attitude

- have the ability to handle a demanding and varying schedule

- maintain high energy for long periods of time with a compassionate, nurturing and patient disposition

- be able to lift event supplies

- be available immediately 

 

Other preferred skills and abilities:

- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing related field
