Come join our Team!  Olive Vista, Center for Problems of Living has an opening for an Assistant Program Director (Special Treatment Program) at our 120 center located in Pomona, CA.  This is a full time position to work Saturday thru Wedensday to provide leadership and guidance under the direction of the Program Director.  Applicants must have strong documentation skills, experience with care plans and MDS.  Must have previous crisis intervention experience. Bachelor's degree preferred and experience in Forensics helpful.

This position assists the STP Director in the planning, development, coordination, and supervision of the STP (Special Treatment Program) and other therapeutic activity programs which meet the needs and interests of each resident in the facility, observing all regulatory requirements under state and federal law and SunBridge policies and procedures.

Requirements


* Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Relations, Child Development, Rehab Therapy (RT, OT, etc.) or other Social Service field from an accredited college or university is preferred.

* Valid (state) Driver’s license.

* Ability to coordinate care with external consultants/agencies and monitor resident treatment and care.

* Understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment including the ability to assess and implement treatment plans of seriously mentally ill adults.

* Ability to interact, communicate and respect residents who are seriously and persistently mentally ill.

* Ability to liaison with county mental health, health, service, criminal justice, and court systems.

* Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies and procedures.

* Ability to understand, control, and track direct spending and labor budgets.
