Assistant Residential Manager

We have approximately 1,000 full and part-time staff employed across an array of more than 70 program sites in Nassau and Suffolk county.

 

We are looking for an individual who will assist the Residential Manager in the direction of the day-to-day operation of a suffolk county Residential Program site.  This will include providing direct supervision to the staff assisting them in providing quality care to the consumers living within the home, staff hiring, staff development, budget development, fiscal managemant, facility maintenance and in communicating with consumers and families. 

 

A qualified applicant requires:

. a High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's degree preferred

. 2 years experience working in the field of Human Services

. 1 year of management experience preferred

. Knowledge of OMRDD regulations and systems preferred

. A clean and valid NYS Driver's License

. The ability to obtain and maintain AMAP Certification

. The ability to obtain and maintain SCIP Certification

. The ability to assist with lifting and transferring a person with ambulatory issues
