Associate Consultant - Business Development / 269 Position Description:The Associate Consultant – Business Development supports development and marketing processes for the Health Intelligence Business Unit. This position will at times work independently and at other times work closely with team members, including management. Responsibilities for writing project summaries, providing technical responses for complex RFPs (including research), writing abstracts for publications and presentations, developing and implementing project plans, overseeing development-related information, including unit specific newsletter, coordinating information and proposal responses with manager, APS leadership and other business units.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: The position requires undergraduate level education in social services, journalism, public policy, marketing, english or an equivalent combination of related experience. Graduate level experience preferred.EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated experience supporting business development activities, including writing responses to requests for proposals. Demonstrated experience working within an analytic and/or consulting environment. The ideal applicant will also have expertise using Microsoft Office applications, with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint required and MS Access preferred. Experience working with cross functional teams and with project-driven deadlines is preferred.
