ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR



Responsible for managing the development, planning and implementation of all activities in the state of Ohio; includes special event and general fundraising, media relations, public relations, organization, administration and training. Responsible for managing assigned staff.

Bachelor's degree and five years of fundraising, sales, marketing and/or related experience, including two years previous experience through levels of progressive management responsibility (i.e. supervision, budgeting, strategic planning, organizational development, cost control, manpower allocation, etc.) required. Thorough knowledge of fundraising and general management methods within the nonprofit field; excellent diplomacy skills; strong written & verbal communication skills; and a valid driver's license a must. Extensive travel, including overnights and weekends, required.
