Facility: Caritas Norwood Hospital, Norwood MA Department: Patient Access - Part-time - 20hrs/wk; Every Thurs; Every other Mon, Tues, Sat;11pm-7am - Night shift - Customer service skills are required Performs duties related to the registration and admission of patients into the Meditech registration system. Generates accurate and complete patient records that will enable the Hospital to maximize reimbursement. Functions as customer service representative and ambassador for the Hospital. Works with the Administrative Manager to ensure appropriate bed placement.

 

Must have administrative experience and the ability to multi task. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to use independent judgment. Knowledge of third party billing, managed care, and medical terminology preferred.
