We are currently looking for a Project Manager, Benefits for our Lyndhurst, NJ facility to assist with the day-to-day management and administration of the health and life plans. Lead major projects for medical, dental, life, COBRA, HIPAA, and FSA programs such as service or plan conversions, dependent audit and claims audit.  Prepare budget spreadsheets and other complex excel analyses.  Lead efforts with respect to data warehouse.  Write summary plan descriptions.  Provide escalated support and customer service and/or handle appeals. Work with the vendors, HR and employees.  Work with external call center on service and messaging for employees and monitor and address performance issues.  Support and contribute to company Health initiatives and improvements for our employee and business unit customers, including program or experience analyses, reseaching new legal requirements, and implementing new processes or programs.

 

 

Our ideal candidate will possess: 5 - 7 years of experience with health plans, including financial analysesExperience with Six Sigma a plus, comfortable working on multiple tasks at a time, self-starterExcellent Excel capabilities a must.  Health plan background including plan interpretation, legal requirements and knowledge of processesAnalytical, problem solving and project management skillsCustomer service and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written); organizational and attention to detail skillsMicrosoft Office; and math skills.
