JOB DETAILS: Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: 8-5; Days of work: M-F SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely billing. He/She may also be responsible for registering patients and initiating certification process for patient treatment as needed. REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school graduate. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGESpecialized knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance billing. Typing skills of 50-70 wpm. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with public and patients. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCEOne to two years previous billing experience in a medical office/hospital environment.
