Currently we are seeking a Billing Supervisor for our Pittsburgh, PA facility.  This individual will be responsible for the management of all aspects of cash application, control and receivables. Accountable for the management and coordination of all cash activities on site and coordination of National cash flows and controls, AR analysis and review of processes. Responsible for the scheduling and supervision of the non-exempt billing personnel.  Accountable for timeliness and accuracy of data and customer service.  Responsible for employee review, development, and disciplinary actions, as well as ensuring department integrity and compliance.

 

Additional Responsibilities:Monitors Accounts Receivable indicators of Cash, Agings and Adjustments. This includes review of write-offs and reimbursements.Supervises Cash processes and procedures Monitors daily cash posting process to guarantee that all cash is posted within required time frames.Coordinates information and cash flow processes.Develops metrics to monitor accuracy or applications.Develops SOP’s for all related processes.Employee trainingAR analysis of critical indicators. Anticipates future departmental needs and creates solutions to meet them.Effectively and regularly communicates at all levels of the organization, as appropriate, assuring proper flow of information.Assures appropriate employee production by providing contingency plans for vacations and absences.Reviews monthly Accounts Receivable Measures based upon progress; provides input and ideas for improvement.Ensures compliance with internal audit controls and billing best practices manual. Ensures compliance with all State and Federal regulations.

 

Our ideal candidate will possess:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; Associate Degree preferred.A minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.Medical Billing experience preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer/Data Entry experience required.Banking and Credit knowledge preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills.Demonstrated proficiency with PC skills  Access, EXCEL and Word (or similar). Strong problem solving skills.Knowledge of Compliance and regulatory requirements.Project Management proficiency.Strong Interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently.Visual Basic experience (preferred)
