Biomedical Equipment Account Manager Skills Required: Biomedical Equipment Servicing, CBET, CRES, CLES, clinical/lab equipment Job Description: Biomedical Equipment Account ManagerWe are an Independent Service Organization seeking a qualified BMET candidate to provide site management, repair and maintenance, calibration, equipment inspections, and program coordination for our clients. This position requires the ability to effectively interact and communicate with client representatives, company support staff and management, outside vendors and others to provide efficient and cost-effective solutions. The job involves travel to locations within the region and occasional overtime work.Preference given to applicants with certifications of training on specialized equipment, Certified Biomedical Technician (CBET or CRES).Job requirements Work history must include: ~ Prior satisfactory experience (5+ years) as a BMET troubleshooting & repairs ~ 3 years experience working on either clinical or lab equipment ~ Demonstrated top-notch customer relations skills ~ Strong communications skills ~ Solid computer skills (MS â„¢Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, etc) ~ Excellent attention to detail, timeliness, and paperwork completionCurrent knowledge of federal, state, JCAHO and other standards & regulations related to biomedical equipment service and healthcare is required.Associate's Degree in Electronics/ Biomedical instrumentation or equivalent work experience. A valid driver's license with good driving history, and reliable transportation for work at multiple locations.PREFERENCE GIVEN TO: ~ Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES) ~ Past site/account management experience ~ Experience in repair & maintenance of ultra high speed centrifuges, scintillation counters, liquid chromatography equipment, DNA sequencing equipmentPhysical Demands: Lift and or move 35 lbs. equipment and/or parts on regular basis Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to work with small parts, devices, and tools Vision rated as normal Ability to reach with hands, arms/walk/climb/balance/ kneel/stoop/crouch/crawl Hearing within normal range Potential exposure to hazardous physical, chemical and/or biological agentsThis is a permanent position offering good benefits!!!
