Boiler Engineer

Job Details:
Job Summary: The Boiler Engineer assists in the performance of duties necessary to operate and maintain boilers and other auxiliary equipment necessary for producing steam for heat and power for the hospital facility. Requirements: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); training in boiler room operating techniques and related activities. Third class high pressure license. Sufficient previous experience as fireperson in a hospital boiler room or similar setting. Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of boiler operation, cleaning and maintenance and safety procedures; incinerator operation, cleaning and maintenance; heat, ventilation and air conditioning operation.
