Business Analyst - Medicare Part D

This position will focus on the day to day tasks involving Catalyst Rx Medicare Part D services.This position works with the Medicare Part D Enterprise Team and client partners to support Catalyst Rx business processes such as Prescription Drug Event (PDE) file creation, CMS reporting, pharmacy expense reporting, financial reporting and PDE error correction.  The candidate will evaluate business requirements, propose technical solutions and implement those solutions with the Medicare Part D technical team.  The candidate will maintain a Web-Based client support tool to promote and manage the communication between Catalyst Rx and our client partners.  The candidate will focus on analyzing and solving problems, creating management briefings and executing day to day project management activities.

Skills and Experience:

*Medicare Part D knowledge and understanding; PDE processing familiarity, CMS rules and regulations, medicare Part D manuals and guidance

*Pharmacy Claims Processing; functional understanding of POS claims processing

*Project management; experience in Project Planning and Tracking

*MS Excel and/or Access; experience in manipulating data and creating reports

*Business Analytics; translation of client requirements to technical specifications

*Customer and/or client service in the PBM industry; Crystal Reports development experience, SXC system experience, Project Management & Microsoft Project experience.

*4 years Business Analyst experience to include:  1+ years of customer service, 2+ years of PBM or heathcare, 1 year Medicare Part D (may be concurrent)
