Our client in Bethlehem, PA is seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst who will play an integral role in establishing, maintaining and managing a comprehensive research and business data info resource structure, that will provide market, customer and industry data for basic and in-depth business and market analyses such as segmentation and purchase patterns. Additionally, you will develop model profiles to identify new buying prospects, conduct needs assessments, and design and create databases to fit requirements, as well as testing and implementing new applications and/or modifications to existing systems, and providing assistance and training to new users. You must have experience designing and managing the integration of multiple databases, including specific experience with: SAP r/3 and data warehouse applicationsSQL and relational databasesAdvanced skills in MS Excel and Access, including report-generation, SQL querying, pivot tables, complex formulas, statistical functions, and presentation stylesSPSS or other statistical softwarestrong analytical skills and a proven understanding of quantitative and statistical dataBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Computer Science3-5 years of experience in database management and marketing researchOther Requirements: Experience in the healthcare/medical/pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred! **some travel may be required About Aquent Aquent is the world's largest marketing staffing firm.
