Business Development Director - Long Term Care

Come join our team! SunBridge Healthcare Corporation seeks a results-driven Business Development professional to support the Admissions process and further business development in North Carolina.  


The BDD is responsible for meeting the business development objectives of the facilities assigned and for supporting the facility teams in meeting those objectives to include:



Manages the local planning and sales functions to generate referrals in sufficient volume and of appropriate mix.


Provides admissions, customer service and sales training and intervention.

Provides customer base focus to improve market share and occupancy.


Manages Market research process including market share/competition analysis and assessment of business development.


Identifies contracting entities to secure referrals and ensure facility fair market share from key accounts including hospitals, commercial payors, physicians groups and other significant community contacts.


Reviews facility’s internal systems ensuring facility has the capacity, ability and clinical competencies to meet the expectations for promoted services


Communicates to regional team as necessary regarding facility progress


Essential duties include oversight of the revenue generating process, strategic planning, market analyses, training and coaching, and much travel within the state of North Carolina.


The Business Development Director (BDD) will work closely with eight (8) facilities representing 950 beds throughout North Carolina.



Requirements


The successful candidate has two plus years experience in healthcare sales and marketing preferably in the state of North Carolina. Must be able to work independently with little direction and be extremely detail oriented.


Must have knowledge of reimbursement regulations as well as laws, regulations, a guideline pertaining to healthcare.


The BDD should have highly developed critical thinking skills and be comfortable speaking with people from all walks of life.  A Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, healthcare or related field is required.


North Carolina regional and corporate initiative travel, to include overnight stay required.
