Business Development Manager

General Purpose:

Responsible for home care sales and market development program.  Markets home health care and staffing services to potential referral sources and prospective clients to increase profitable sales and the continual development of the business.

 

Essential Functions: Establishes and maintains contacts and relationships with key individuals who are referral sources for home care and/or supplemental staffing clients, including physicians, physician office staff, hospitals, hospital discharge planners, social workers and case managers, etc. Establishes and maintains contacts and relationships with payors for home care services, including commercial insurers, managed care organizations, third party administrators and governmental programs coordinators. Creates and implements sales and marketing programs to sell and to increase growth within large complex referral and payor organizations.  Develops and implements business growth and territory expansion plans. Promotes professional image of Company and office.

 

Minimum Requirements: Four year college degree with concentration in business or health care, or equivalent experience. Five (5) years progressive sales experience in health care with recent home care concentration. Competency with computer systems and current business software.
