Business Information AnalystsThe Nationwide Better Health Analytics team provides fact-based market research, client and industry analyses, and operational reporting support to corporate leadership and the senior management of each of Better Health’s operating segments. We work primarily on nurturing our client relationships, identifying new organic growth and identifying quality improvement opportunities for all of our lines of business. As our team grows, we are looking for Business Information Analysts who can bring intelligence, structured thinking, and stellar communication skills to bear in solving real-world health care and productivity problems. Working collaboratively in small teams on key projects, you would learn and be mentored by our senior leadership while helping to define and drive business strategies. Business Information Analysts work with customer relationship and operating segment managers to deliver fact-based strategic solutions to our internal stakeholders and external clients. Major responsibilities include: 1. Researching client financial results, clinical performance and healthcare and productivity trends2. Gathering market and financial data 3. Benchmarking internal performance and competitor activities 4. Structuring and performing strategic analyses and opportunity assessments 5. Conducting financial modeling 6. Developing presentation materials for deliverables 7. Participating in presentations and presenting recommendations based on structured analysis and findings 8. Learning advanced business analysis techniques through mentoring from management 9. Coordinating the delivery of information to the internal business community10. Defining corporate-wide standard reports, metrics and business rulesThis is an outstanding opportunity for candidates with a strong interest in developing world class business analysis expertise (demonstrated business analysis experience is not required but is a plus).   A background in Healthcare is also a plus.  A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, science, math, finance or economics is preferred. Excellent analytical and reasoning skills are essential as is the ability to communicate your thoughts in a clear, concise, and disciplined manner.
