As the Business Process Consultant, you would drive process improvement and implement operational procedures, education and communication to maximize the effectiveness of the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) team across our Fortune 50 organization.  Key responsibilities of the Business Process Consultant include: Working closely with the ICFR compliance team to evaluate and improve the program and technologies Ensuring the educational materials are up-to-date Identifying, assessing, managing and monitoring the portfolio for financial disclosure risks impacting our company Developing, documenting and implementing operational policies, procedures and metrics Creating effective communication channels, media and materials for ICFR information access Coordinating meeting arrangements and preparing presentation materials Reporting on metrics and performing cost-benefit analysis Acting as a change agent to develop and implement best practices throughout the organization Partnering with shared training development resources to establish and maintain a comprehensive education program for compliance with ICFR at all levels Incorporating changes into cyclical training and communication programs to keep materials, venues and delivery up-to-date Coordinating and conducting education sessionsRequirements include: Experience delivering results with a process-improvement focus Experience with corporate project management or process improvement A background developing and delivering presentations at a high level Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with diverse audiences Expert skills in Microsoft Office suite A Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent experience In addition, ideal assets include: Experience with communications and training techniques A background working with Sarbanes Oxley or other compliance activity Experience presenting to large groups (50-100 people) UnitedHealth Group offers a full range of comprehensive benefits to full-time and part-time employees, including medical, dental and vision, as well as a matching 401k and an employee stock purchase plan.  Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V. UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.  Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.Keywords: business process, business process consultant, project manager, project management, Sarbanes oxley, Sarbanes-oxley, sox, compliance, operations, operations management, operations manager, process improvement
