Business Solutions Consultant

We are currently looking for a Consultant to join our Business Solutions Team This full time position functions as part of a team and is responsible for assisting clients in assessing their business objectives and developing work plans for the integration of Craneware products into their business processes on a project fee basis.  This role will also require significant travel.



The Business Solutions Consultant is accountable to:

· Perform on-site evaluations of business objectives, develop and deliver written assessments, formal recommendations and project plans within budget & timeline.

· Assist clients in defining staff accountabilities and performance measures related to work processes involving Craneware technologies

· Track and report client service hours within policies and procedures to support billing.

· Assist in follow-up and collection activities as requested for consultant specific engagements.

· Communicate new business lead assure prompt qualification of software and consultancy leads.

· Communicate any variance from defined scope of services or budgeted project hours through authorized channels prior to delivery of services to assure reimbursement under contracts.

· Assist in sale presentations to key prospective accounts & present at trade shows, user groups, etc. to promote Craneware identity and products, and develop new lead opportunities.

· Maintain working knowledge of Craneware software solutions to effectively advise clients on best practice uses and methods to measure progress against their stated business goals.



Skills and Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) required; advanced degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Health Information or other Business or healthcare related fields preferred. 

· Minimum of 5 years experience within healthcare operations, working knowledge of healthcare revenue capture and patient accounting systems and able to complete complex process analysis

· Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative, comprehend complex, interdependent systems, problem solve and multi-task.

· Demonstrated project management and health care financial management or health information management experience

· Excellent listening, verbal, presentation, documentation and written communication skills. 

· Ability to educate across a broad spectrum of abilities and skill levels.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office tools to document, analyze and communicate work plans.
