CEQI Specialist

The CEQI Specialist supports HUP & PMC Clinical Effectiveness and Quality Improvement Team leaders in identification, data analysis, and implementation of CEQI targets and Quality measures. Monitors and reports progress to CEQI administrative staff, team leaders, and the UPHS leadership. Develops and maintains databases. Interacts with clinical team members to disseminate data and implement improvement strategies as well as identify potential safety and quality improvement initiatives. Assists UPHS leadership in assessing data and identifying areas for improvement with regards to external reporting requirements. Acts as project manager for assigned projects and an agent for change. And serves as support for major CEQI projects. Minimum Education and Skills Requirements: - Bachelors degree required with minimum 5 years experience in Healthcare and/or database analysis. - Advanced degree preferred with clinical and administrative focus. - Strong skills with computers, spreadsheets and databases required. - Must be highly organized with the ability to work well with people. - Must have ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information. - Strong written and verbal skills are extremely important.
