CFO needed for Critical Access Hospital in Virginia Mountains – Located in the beautiful Warm Springs Valley adjacent to the Homestead Resort, Bath Community Hospital is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to direct financial planning, accounting and the hospital’s relationship with lending institutions and the financial community.  Responsibilities include the oversight, direction and implementation of treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate and insurance activities.  Reports to CEO and submits timely and accurate financial reports to Finance Committee and Board of Directors. 

 

Requires a minimum of 3 years prior management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.  Critical Access Hospital experience is preferred.  Must have good communication skills and a thorough knowledge of accounting, finance, reimbursement, budgeting, credit and collection, as relates to health care.  Also requires experience with MS Office and at least one industry standard accounting software program.  Four-year degree strongly preferred with a major in Finance or Accounting desired. 

 

Salary: $100-130K, plus benefits.
