Position ID:  EB-5575450006 Job Category:  Medical/Health Type:  Full Time, Employee Title of Position:CICU Manager Company Information:Magee Resource Group has been retained by one of the premiere hospitals in Spokane, WA to help recruit a seasoned CICU Manager; named a Solucient Top 100 Heart Hospitals five times in the last eight years, ranked among the top 10% in the nation for cardiology services in 2007, and ranked #1 in Washington for overall cardiac services.  This is a very busy 350+ bed Level II Trauma Center, fully accredited "not-for-profit" hospital.  In addition, overall cardiac, vascular and gastrointestinal services ranked among the top 10 percent in the nation for 2006 by HealthGrades, the nation’s leading provider of independent hospital ratings.    Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will oversee the execution of short and long term strategies to support organizational goals pertinent to the CICU.  The ideal candidate will be a "hands-on", visible, engaging leader; a strong mentor that holds their staff accountable, and are able to have difficult discussions as needed.  This director will establish and ensure compliance with standards of clinical care, as well as maintain accountability for staffing, quality, safety, service, and clinical excellence throughout the department.  They will maintain integral relationships with medical staff leadership and will be accountable for the implementation and proper application of policies, programs and services as established by federal and state regulatory bodies for Cardiac services.  They will also research, identify, and implement initiatives and opportunities to improve the effectiveness of management within the Emergency Department.  The position reports to the VP of Cardiac Services.  Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess a valid WA Nursing License, 2 years critical care management experience, BSN preferred. Visit our Website, www.mageeresource.com, for more information about this and other similar positions.
