CONSULTATION DEPARTMENT REP

One of the services we provide to veterinary clients is access to our consultants who specialize in specific areas of veterinary medicine. Clients can call our Consultation Department to schedule a telephone consultation with, for example, a specialist in oncology, dermatology, or avian conditions.

 

We are currently seeking an individual to screen requests via phone and internet and schedule consultation sessions with our veterinary specialists. As part of our Consultation Department, this individual will also answer questions regarding specimen handling and submission, and perform general clerical duties.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience as a veterinary tech or veterinary assistant, familiarity with veterinary terminology, and some knowledge of lab testing and supplies used for specimen submission. Other qualifications include friendly but professional phone etiquette, good written communication skills, and ability to work as a team player.

 

Although this is currently a temporary position, for the right person, this may provide a great opportunity for regular placement in this or other departments within the company.

 

Schedule:

Monday – Friday (5am – 2pm or 6am - 3pm)

Now until beginning of August
