CLINICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

CLINICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR Saint Barnabas Health Care System, New Jersey's largest healthcare network, is seeking a CLINICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR to be responsible for providing technical application support, design and testing functions during CIS implementations, as well as post Go-Live support. This position will be based out of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ (a Saint Barnabas Health Care System affiliate). This position requires: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related health care fields or equivalent experience. • Background in information technology, healthcare information systems or clinical departmental experience. • Basic understanding of databases. • Experience troubleshooting and proposing solutions in production operations. • Experience in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel and Access. • Flexibility to travel to Saint Barnabas Health Care System affiliates. • Clinical information system experience strongly preferred and prior implementation experience highly beneficial. • Project Management experience a plus. • SQL and relational database knowledge a plus. • Clinical system integration experience helpful.
