CLINICAL LAB SCIENTIST - CLIENT SERVICES

Requirements: Candidate must be familiar with laboratory testing requirements and results and how to communicate these requirements, results and related information to both internal & external clients. They must be capable of accessing and processing multiple types of data from diverse laboratory information systems, reference laboratories, laboratory procedures and other associated resources. They must be capable of learning and demonstrating an acceptable skill level in problem resolution, test ordering and resulting, providing test cost information, interactions with Wheaton Franciscan Laboratory couriers, addressing client supply issues and other concerns that arise in the performance of Client Service Representative duties. Candidates must have excellent voice and communication skills. They must present a polite, pleasant and professional demeanor when interacting with both internal & external clients. Candidates must be capable of exhibiting a high degree of discretion, integrity and patience in all their work related interactions.Strong clinical laboratory background and Medical Technologist with ASCP certification is required. Description: Under the supervison of the Client Services Supervisor and with the support of the Lead Client Services Representative, the desired Client Services Representative must have:Extensive familiarity with laboratory testing requirements and results and how to communicate these requirements, results and related information to both internal and external clients. They must be able to access and process multiple types of laboratory data from diverse laboratory information systems, reference laboratories, laboratory procedures and other associated resources. They must be able to learn and demonstrate an acceptable skill level in both routine and complex problem resolution, test ordering and resulting, providing test cost information, interactions with Wheaton Franciscan Laboratory couriers, addressing client supply issues and other concerns that arise in the performance of Client Service Representative duties. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent voice and communication skills. They must present a polite, pleasant and professional demeanor when interacting with both internal and external clients. Conduct themselves at all times with a high degree of discretion, integrity and patience.Participation in a weekend and holiday rotation is required.Strong clinical laboratory background and Medical Technologist with ASCP certification is required.
