CLINICAL SRVS COORDINATOR/RN

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Certification is required - Florida License or Eligibility Required - WOCN Certification - Experience is preferred - Recent experience in the specialty area is required GENERAL SUMMARY: This individual is responsible for the clinical staff and activities of the Inpatient Wound Care Program. These include the coordination of clinical services to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds in the inpatient setting. May act as a resource, educator, and consultant to nursing staff and physicians for patients with serious wound management and/or the basic care of colostomies and urinary diversions. Coaches, teaches, and mentors others to increase competence. Directly supervises Enterostomal Resource Nurses. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Preferred: Business and operations experience in a clinical setting Required: Excellent skills in communication and conflict resolution. Demonstrates tact, timeliness, coaching, accountability, commitment, leadership to achieve goals, ability to influence others and resource management. Thorough knowledge of wound care. EDUCATION: Preferred: Required: Must complete the LRMC's Supervisors' Training (e.g. Supervisor Orientation) within the first six months in role. Graduate of an accredited RN program and a Bachelor's degree (BSN not required) EXPERIENCE: Preferred: Previous supervisory experience. Required: 3-5 years experience in professional/technical role requiring progressive in crease in responsibility. 3-5 years in wound/sub-special care.
