Requirements: Bachelors Degree in: Medical Technology 5 Years experienceKnowledge and skills and abilities required:Excellent organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsIndependent judgement and good decision-making and problem solving skills required.Knowledge of techniques, principles and instruments of laboratory technology of the department(s).Good leadership skills, including the ability to handle adversity and diversity, and mentor employees.Specific Job Details:Generally scheduled Monday through Friday 6:00 to 14:30 pm. This is a lead tech position overseeing technical and support services issues. Description: Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Site Manager and technical direction of pathologist, etc., directs, coordinates and performs the activities of assigned laboratory department(s). This position is the Lead Clinical Lab Scientist on first shift assissting the Site Manager with technical and support services issues.Assists in policy and procedure writing and review, accreditation associated activities and is responsible for appropriate utilization of supplies, instruments, and equipment in assigned department(s). May be required to work some weekends and perform technical testing and support services duties.
