CO Licensed Clinician pr PHD/PsyD with Autism Specialty

Seeking Master's, PHD or PsyD level licensed clinician with behavioral analysis background and experience with Autism for new Autism Program. Requires knowledge as to use of best practices in the field as to a multitude of clinical populations. Collaborates with Clinical Director, Psychiatrist, clinical team and Mental Health Workers to maintain a therapeutic environment, identify specific behavioral planning when needed, perform multiple global clinical assessments, to include special precautions, etc.  Assists in the implementation of the individualized treatment plan, subsequent treatment plan reviews and partakes in clinical recommendations as they arise, to include, transition planning. The clinician will be an effective member of the multi disciplinary team internally, as well as an active participant on identified client's CFT teams.  Will also collaborate with external referral sources, case workers, etc., in ensuring open and effective communication occurs throughout the client’s stay.

 

 

Education: Minimum of Masters degree in clinical social work or psychology. Colorado License required, with specialty in behavior analysis specically related to Autism.

 

Experience:  Experience with children or adolescents in residential or inpatient setting with Autism.  Familiar with Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Solution Focused Family therapy, Strength Based orientation and Integrated Substance Abuse treatment.
