COTA - Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Redstone Highlands is a faith based non-profit organization, offering a full continuum of retirement living options to older adults with campus locations in Greensburg, Murrysville and North Huntingdon.  We are seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), for our In-House Rehab Department at our Greensburg campus.

 

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) contributes to the assessment of and provides occupational therapy care and services - through the use of purposeful activity of interventions to achieve functional outcomes, i.e. to develop or restore the highest possible level of independence of an individual who is limited by a physical injury or illness, a dysfunctional condition, a cognitive impairment, a psychosocial dysfunction, a mental illness, a developmental or learning disability, or an adverse environmental condition.

 

We provide services to geriatric residents in a very diverse setting, ranging from skilled nursing to our independent living apts.  We offer an attractive compensation and a wonderful working environment. Experience in a long term care/skilled nursing setting, including MDS familiarity, preferred. Position requires current licensure in the state of PA in good standing, and the ability to work daylight hours during the work week.
