Job DescriptionUnder the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (pursuant to the laws of the state), the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) assists in patient evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, and facilitating development or maintenance of the patient's optimum level of indepen¬dence in daily life tasks such as mobility, self-care and life tasks. The COTA actively participates in departmental activities, illustrating the desire to work in collaboration with others to provide quality interdisciplinary care.
