Capital Svc Contract Manager

Job Summary Responsible for managing the acquisition process for all capital equipment and for administering and coordinating staff, systems and procedures related to the contracting and competitive bid programs for all service related contracts at University of Colorado Hospital. Responsibilities include identifying cost savings opportunities, benchmarking against national data, distribution of RFP's, analysis of vendor proposals, vendor negotiations, and finalization of agreements. Directly interfaces with representatives from Bioengineering, IT, department directors and vice presidents, and the Capital Committee to identify capital and service needs and to facilitate evaluation and acquisition process. Works closely with Executive Director of Materials Management, Finance, IT and Bioengineering to increase standardization and compliance to UCH agreements. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or 5-10 years of equivalent healthcare related work experience; 5 years of healthcare related capital and service contracting experience. 5 years experience in managing direct report resources.
