CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNICIAN Full time

Experience/TrainingPrevious experience or training in a Cardiovascular Lab requiredCardiovascular technician training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring. Two years experience with excellent arrhythmia recognition hemodynamic and scrub abilities preferredBLS required

Duties/ResponsibilitiesOperates Cardiovascular Laboratory equipment: pressure injectors, hemodynamic monitor, cardiac output computer, etc.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceOrganizes overall workload to complete responsibilities in a timely mannerPerforms job responsibilities within established guidelines and scope of practiceMaintains current knowledge of advances in job-related technology and activitiesDemonstrates expertise in safe and effective use of job related equipmentKnows process for malfunctioning/broken equipmentIntegrates department operations into the organization’s overall functioningIndependently recognizes and performs duties which need to be done without being directly assigned. Establishes priorities; organizes work and time to meet themRecognizes and responds to priorities, accepts changes and new ideas. Has insight into problems and the ability to develop workable alternatives
