As a Care Advocate, you would communicate over the phone with providers to assist in troubleshooting for our newest program. This is a unique role that offers a chance to use your clinical knowledge in a brand-new way. Take a break from direct care, and apply today.  Primary responsibilities include: Answering calls from providers to assist with our new Alert program Supporting treatment plans and providing additional resources Responding to member (patient) questions Educating providers and members on program details The chosen candidate will possess a Master’s degree and one of the following current, unrestricted TX licensures: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PhD OR be a Psychiatric RN. A varied clinical background is also needed. DSM IV knowledge is highly preferred, and prior utilization review or managed care experience is ideal. Quality care and quality improvement experience is a plus. Experience working with providers will be very helpful; knowledge of community-based outpatient services is desired.
