Case Management Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Supervisor for our Case Management department located in Winter Park, FL.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a leadership role supporting branch operations as well as to provide direction and training to field medical/vocational case managers ensuring proper case management direction and performance. Responsible for goal setting, teaching, training, coaching and overall quality assurance. May supervise other office staff depending on operational need.

 

REQUIREMENTS: B.S., B.A., or B.S.N. with RN preferred.  Masters and/or advanced study in a health-related field desired.  3-5 years in a managed care rehabilitation services industry and/or prior experience in related field (nursing or vocational rehabilitation counseling) required.  Prior supervisory experience preferred.  Certification required in at least one of the following:  C.R.C., C.C.M., C.O.H.N., C.R.R.N. or C.D.M.S.  Valid driver’s license required.  Must meet licensing requirements based on applicable statutes of state(s) of practice.  Must be fully versed in state workers’ compensation laws and practices. Must be knowledgeable of surrounding states’ law as well as have knowledge of additional insurance lines and health benefits such as MCO, PPO and benefit plans such as group health, or disability plans such as STD, and LTD.  Computer literacy required.
