Certified Cancer Registrar

Status:  Full Time, Employee    We are seeking a Certified Cancer Registrar. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring all types of cancers and other reportable benign tumors diagnosed and/or treated at the institution, to collect demographic cancer identification, treatment and follow-up data on each eligible cancer patients, to act as liaison to outside agencies, educational programs, screening programs, marketing activities, and quality control measures.The Registrar must be cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives and policies of the Department and the hospital center. Requirements: BA/ BS degree preferred. Certified by the National Tumor Registrars. Must have 3-5 years of experience as Tumor Registrar.
