Certified & Experienced Medical Billers

Chantilly, VA based Medical Billing Firm seeks 2 Full Time local and on-site Certified Medical Billers. 

 

Salary ranges from $34,000 – $44,000 to start depending on level and number of current certification(s), the number of years the applicant has billed physician claims and the applicant’s familiarity with our software and billing our clients’ specialties.

 

Duties include entering patient/insurance data; confirming and/or correcting the ICD-9/CPT/HCPCS and posting the charges quickly and accurately.

 

Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Billing Physician Claims and insurance follow up.

  Excellent working knowledge of insurance payment regulations including co-pays, coinsurance, deductibles, and contractual adjustments.

  Knowledge of Govt. & Commercial Insurance Carriers and Workman’s Comp

  Must have a proven work record along with verifiable references.

  Must be Computer literate.

  Must possess excellent verbal and writen communication skills.

  Must be able to work in a high volume and busy environment.

  Must be able to multi-task and possess excellent follow-up skills

  Must be currently certified by a recognized HIM Association

         (i.e., CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCCS, CMC,CMIS, etc)  

 

Full Time is Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM with an hour for lunch.
