Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA

Requirements: Math and English skills equivalent to a high school education. Heart Savers or Basic Life Support certification. Ability to organize work and activities and communicate effectively in the fast paced environment of health care. Description: As a member of the patient care team, the Certified Nursing Assistant, with direction from the registered Nurse, supports the provision of nursing care. The Certified Nursing Assistant has both team member responsibilities, direct and indirect patient care responsibilities that require judgments, accountability and follow through. Within these responsibilities, accepting delegation, communicating effectively and confidentially, recording accurate information, and maintaining a safe environment are critical to success in this position.This is a part-time position, working 20 hours/week from 3:00pm - 11:30pm. The position is benefit eligible.
