Certified Phlebotomy Technician - CPT-1

We are currently seeking highly motivated and career oriented Certified Phlebotomy Technicians for our Orange County team. As a valued member of our team you will be responsible for obtaining evidentiary blood samples from criminal suspects at law enforcement agencies and hospitals throughout Orange County.

Our highly honored and respected organization is responsible for the collection of blood samples that are used as evidence in criminal cases.  Investigative blood samples are obtained from individuals that are under arrest for various crimes including Driving Under-the-Influence (DUI), being under the influence of a controlled substance, and a multitude of major crimes including homicide, assault, and rape.

Successful candidates must currently posses the State of California Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 Certificate, have excellent phlebotomy skills, and have reliable transportation.

Full time employees typically work four 12 hour on-call shifts per week; responding to locations throughout the county as needed on a STAT basis. A typical 12 hour on-call shift consists of approximately 6 hours of actual work (about 10 responses) and 6 hours of personal free time.

New employees typically average in excess of $3,700.00 per month which includes a generous transportation expense reimbursement. Full time employees also receive fully paid medical and dental insurance after 3 months of employment. Additional compensation is also available for CPT’s with an AA or AS degree.
