CERTIFIED CODER

Seeking Certified Professional Coder (CPC) to audit surgery charges and routine services.  This position reports to the VP of Clinical Operations and will audit post op & clinical notes; provide educational feedback to physicians & staff; identify benchmarks within automated computer system & follow-up on quality improvement initiatives within the billing department. Qualified candidate will possess expert knowledge of ICD-9, CPT, HCPCS codes and documentation guidelines.  2-3 years experience in surgery charge coding preferred.
