Certified Surgical Coder

Plexus Management Group is a dynamic, young consulting/practice management organization located in Westwood, MA.  Our services include medical billing and collections, financial management, OR management consulting, human resources, scheduling, credentialing and IS management.

 

We are seeking to add a Surgical Coder to our Medical Billing department.

 

In this position you will ensure all anesthesia/pain/surgical records are coded accurately with CPT, ICD-9 and anesthesia crosswalk codes.  You will also ensure that chronic pain management charts are accurately coded with the appropriate level of service for evaluation & management services by selecting the appropriate CPT surgical codes & ICD-9 diagnosis codes.  Position also requires running and review of reports as well as related administrative functions.

 

Position requires a high school diploma and two plus years coding experience in a hospital or a large multi-professional group practice. Certification is required.  Experience coding for anesthesia and/or pain management practices a plus.
